Wow, I am the fist viewer
Dude, you are my muse of apple MacBook
Waiting for Mac Pro with Apple Sillicon 🤩
I am a fan of yours since I saw your video for the first time – the M1 Macbook Air vs Pro vs 16 inch Intel Macbook Pro comparison one.
Run some docker containers too please
Bro, thank you for making this vid. I have been searching youtube for days for this comparison and yours is the first video I’ve seen that actually compares 32 to 64. Now just need to figure out why the memory usage was different running the same apps!
what is swap size? 32gb using ssd more.
Awesome thanks for sharing , looking forward to getting my 32 gb ram .
I was cringing as you opened all of those applications as i visualized doing the same on my current 2014 MacBook.
This is the comparison I’ve been waiting for, and exactly who I was hoping to hear it from, thank you! I’ve loved your vids ever since your first M1 unboxings.
Thanks for this! There was a span of time in which RAM was kinda less important (notably when SSDs came out and gave regular people more “visible” boost to their systems). Then GPUs came in for machine learning, etc. Now RAM is sort of coming back as newer OSs struggle with 8GB, and 16GB is currently a sort of a “regular user” standard. Which makes 32GB a power user benchmark. However, i.e. I get attached to my MacBooks and hold onto them for around 5 years on average. Do you think in the next few years, considering how apps and OSs develop, 32GB will remain a “power” benchmark, or would 64GB be more future-proof? I’m about to buy my new Macbook Pro, and the already painful price tag is bothering me, especially since Apple charges absurd money just because their RAM is soldered and cannot be easily upgraded. But then 400 extra over 5 years time is not that crazy money, so I’m split between whether going for 64GB would be “future-proofing” or literally throwing 400 away for something I will never need.
tensor flow baby.
All those applications running at once got me so hype hahaha
Mate, you’re the only youtuber i let the ads running to support you. Keep up the good work
focus stacking with affinity photo with 100 raw file from middle format camera fuji gfx 100 will pump the all ram so 64go for me all the way
Thank you for this important information!
how about 16 vs 32?
Great videos mate, loving the M1 content.
Could you please share how much battery life do you get on a normal day of use on the M1 Max, if I use it for coding and multimedia?
I guess to destroy 32gb model you need to train ResNet50 with huge batch sizes like 512 and 1024 on gpu=)
bro is “vietnammeetsdustin” your brother?
Awesome video mate. If you have access to pro version can you create a comparison of battery life and benchmark on Max on low power mode vs pro on normal mode to see if someone gets the max and at some point wants to keep the battery life is that low power mode will help and how the performance would be compared to the normal pro then. thanks mate.
