Jesus Christ lol that Anker charging commercial you did absolutely broke your video and a half. I get a shout out, but that was ridiculous.
M1 pro macbook pro when u put the video on 1.25 speed
I’m getting one next week!!
Great video, Dion. What is your opinion on the outlook of the 14″ MacBook Pro? Do you think Apple will keep this design for 5-6 years like the previous design and just make minor upgrades along the way? Is now a good time to buy, or worth it to wait until the new 14″ M2 Pro comes out? Cheers!
I bit the bullet and purchased the macbook pro 14” with similar specs. Upgrading my macbook pro 13” will miss the touchbar but with the trade in value I’ll be getting with it. I think its worth it. The space grey fade does worry me since it did happen with my current macbook but theres multiple types of protector you can purchase through amazon and it blends in well with the macbook itself. I purchased one for the new one arriving next month.
how is the battery life of 14′ m1pro
Cant wait to get this when m5 comes out
For the people who are pwm sensitive, the screen is actually a downgrade.
Besides the fact that I wish I had bought the 16 inch bigger screen, my big complaints about this laptop are it’s heavy for its size. It obviously feels solid but on the other hand, it just feels really heavier than what I would be used to in a similarly sized laptop. I really like the speakers on this laptop but I wish they were louder. The notch sucks and apps don’t seem to know what to do with it. Chrome, for example leaves a large gap and it looks ridiculous. I really love the way the Mac OS works for Mac creators like for photo editing, sound production and video editing but for sure there is some strange behavior in this OS. I think if I could combine some of the Mac features and drivers with Windows 11, then we could have a good operating system. For now, both leave gaps making you want more.
Finally, this laptop is way too expensive for what you get.
New to the mac world shopping around. Want a future proof machine that will last me the longest on a 3k budget any thoughts anyone?
I want to ask you a question. I am a backend developer. I’m stuck between Macbook Pro M1 Pro and Macbook Pro M2. Which one would you bought?
The new 14 inch M1 Pro MacBook Pro is actually thinner than previous models, it just looks thicker because of the new design and the higher rubber feet.
Clean my Mac is absolute bollocks –
This or MacBook Pro 13 M2?
Request you to please let me know what to choose? 14 inch m1 MacBook pro vs m2 MacBook Air?
Hi, I have a questions, will charging the macbook pro 14 with third party charger damage or wear the battery faster?? I’ve seen people said it on the internet. I want to get that Anker 735 but I’m afraid it’ll damage or wear the battery faster.
Great and thanks for the video btw. I just purchased the base m1 pro last week, and your video was one of the reason I purchased it! So far it’s been amazing! Now I’m looking for information on how to keep the battery healthy for a long time.
Although everybody is praising the come back of the magsafe charging head, I think it’s pretty useless. If you can use one type c to connect to monitor and charge, why would you want to connect 2 cables to your MBP?
Thank goodness, as a leader of the industry, Apple is correcting their mistakes
Hi! I am a graphic and web designer, and soon I am going to train in UX/UI. I have a MacBook Pro 13” from 2016 that I am looking forward to upgrading because it is too slow, noisy and gets very hot. A few months ago I was able to test the 14” and 16” M1 Pro for a few days, both with 10c/16c/16Gb/1Tb, and the truth is that they worked really well. What I am going to use the most is going to be the Adobe design suite, Figma, specifically Premiere or FCPX for something normal (4K with 1 or 2 layers, some color correction and some transition), some RAW photo development of a 26mpx APS-C in Capture One and video calls with Zoom. Do you think that with these models I have equipment for 3/4 years? It’s that on Amazon they are usually discounted, and I have even seen the 14” 8c/14c/16Gb/512Gb for €1,995 currently, but I don’t know if it will fall short of power. The idea is not to think too much in the future and use it rather 3/4 years, since I think that Apple’s processors by then will have improved a lot. Let’s see if you can give me your opinion, based on your experience, to go for the base 14” or jump to the 16” with which I would gain screen and battery, although I will do the big jobs with a 4K monitor. Thank you and sorry for the long message!
How many times did he say M1Pro MacBook Pro?
