They can actually add a feature of having a small box on the laptop where you can use your phone via your laptop when connected, it gives a flexibility to operate your phone while connected. I dont know how much this helps, but def ease up the life.

Iphone can’t even get good picture quality on default clicks compared to even midrange samsung phones, goodluck getting anything over pixel art on this mode

I would’ve loved to see what the results look like with the mac hinge in a slightly more upright position to see if that helps the wide lens make a less distorted image.

Great video! I’m definitely using Continuity Camera now. Other apps did the same thing before this, such as Iriun Webcam. It’s still in Beta so I know there’s a lot of improvement to come. One thing that seems like an oversight is the fact that an incoming call to the connected iPhone completely interrupts continuity camera. Even with Do Not Disturb enabled on both Mac and iPhone. Also, that low profile magnetic mount is going to be key for convenience.

Это для кого такая фантастика? Уже миллион лет есть сторонние приложения для использования камер телефона, как вебки.
Теперь нельзя отключить переход мышки с мака на планшет, только отключая блютуз, но ребята, у меня мышь и наушники по блютузу…. Перетягивание документов между компами уже давно реализовано мышками logitech для компов с разными id – удобно в семье или комманде. И кто будет использовать айфон, как вебку, когда приходят сообщения, звонки и пр., а с макбука отвечать во время конференции вариант так себе. В общем, теперь не меняйте старые айфоны – это может быть хорошей вебкой – золотой!))
