I feel like the whole desktop view was an accident, like it was a side-effect of having the iPhone as a webcam. And the developers were like “might as well make it a feature”. It’s such a random feature for someone to be like “we need this”.

Hay, it seemed the app was open source, as in you needed to compile it, whats up with that, never seen it other than some very specific apps, like calculator and Darwin OS.

Or they might bring a new “Wide Angle” camera for the new iPhone 14, which will solve this issue. But it might only be available for Pro models. 😄

It really is cool, My access to a Mac has a user upgraded SSD so I can’t try it on Ventura because apple 💀 I was expect the errors you found because how else would that map out at that angle when you think about it., pretty cool and wanted to give it a shot for recording traditional Art

I’d like to see if video calling clients (zoom, Skype, Duo, facetime) will downgrade your video if you use the iPhone camera as a webcam….
