I mean a 10$ tripod works much better but if you don’t have that kinda money, (and somehow you can still afford a MacBook and an iPhone) you can use this neat feature.

Pretty cool, using your Phone as a webcam for better image quality. But look at me – I use my Sony A7 as a webcam 😂.
Btw. with 3rd party Apps on Android you could use your phone as a Webcam for quite a while now. So it actually is nothing new. But yeah…Apple brings it and everybody is hyped.

airdrop & icloud is cool…but i would appreciate if windows + andriod can implement this…that would be a bigger engineering challenge…and the best part, you are not tied to a manufacturer

I feel like the whole desktop view was an accident, like it was a side-effect of having the iPhone as a webcam. And the developers were like “might as well make it a feature”. It’s such a random feature for someone to be like “we need this”.
