I’ve loved all of my iPhones. I just bought the Apple Watch 7 for my wife and she’s loving it. I’ll probably eventually be trading my versa2 for this Apple Watch. It’s amazing technology that’s brought Dick Tracy sci-fi to reality- and more than we ever imagined. Greatest props to Apple.

I’d rather pick an outdoor activity watch trying to be a smartwatch than a smartwatch trying to be an outdoor activity watch. This won’t be bought by serious outdoor activity enthusiasts but Tarquin with his top knot and hipster beard will love wearing this on his fixed gear road bike.

Looks sexy, but that is pretty much it. Upto 36 hrs basically means 24 hrs or less if we use it for sports or adventure. What is the point of all those features if the battery does on u.

A Garmin or Coros or Amazfit, even the Usd 200 smart watches does 5 6 days east peasy. Sorry Apple.

It would have been nice to get the ultra body in the 8. I still feel the 8 screen is far too delicate and the ultra has that metal border to protect from scuffs

My apple watch 5 just shattered after dropping in the shower. I’m looking to buy a new one, 530 euros for a large apple watch 8 with a regular strap, or 1000+ for the ultra. While the new features are nice, and I like the ruggedness, I don’t think the extra 500 is worth it at the moment.

Isn’t Titanium wayy to heavy to sit on an athletes wrist.. tho that is for athletes to decide, but it is certainly much heavier then aluminum

Great video, most in depth look I’ve seen so far. Can’t wait to receive mine! Immediately bought the trial loop in black.

I love the utilitarian look, when the first Apple Watch came out I wasn’t a huge fan of the design as previously I always wore big G-Shocks but nothing else was comparable with how useful it is so I had to pick one up and compromise on the design/look.

This is a little more of that and right up my street!

So survival watch… nevermind the batt life, skip over it, but in Navigation mode, dual gps and trackback….WHERE ARE THE MAPS ? No map anywhere, just navigate like on Foretrex 301 10 years ago. PS: sent from my Garmin Tactix Delta Solar
