first amd’s 4000 series and now apple ditching intel for inhouse chips, if intel doesn’t come up with something remarkable any soon, they will be out of the game in a couple of years

well remember this is apple’s lowest end chip for the MacBook Air that is meant to be low power and replaces the Y series for intel. For pro’s I would expect a better jump

I’m not a techy person and I’ve had the 2012 MacBook Pro since well.. 2012. I use Lightroom and photoshop a tonne as I love photography. I wanted to upgrade for Christmas this year as my 2012 model is old and slow so bought the 13” intel macbook. The day after it arrived, I had an email from apple announcing the new M1 chip. Like I said I’m not techy and don’t keep up so had no idea it was coming. I was a bit unsure what to do but I’m so lucky we get to return within 14 days. I returned the intel and had my refund and now have the M1 on its way to me to keep for Christmas. I feel like i made the right choice and this video has me excited!!! Thanks for this!

I’m a windows guy, but if Apple is delivering more performance at the same price, you get the one which gives you more for your money.
