even the 2020 intel macbook was beaten by the mid range market of amd-windows and their cheapest now is still expensive but the performance is cool though

bit late to the party but you are the first one to recommend 16Gb of ram, I like that. Would rather see the comparison of the XPS vs this M1 MBA/MBP, the M1 vs Intel counterparts side have been done to death already

The battery life is much better than before, which is an excellent thing, but still, I would be happy with a 10% to 20% lower performance and that the M1 Macbook Air battery life would be at least 2.5 times / 3 times the one of this 1st generation (so at least a claimed 30hours / 45hours battery life in wireless browsing instead of the claimed 15hours, and at least 5 / 6 hours gaming…)

It would really make for 12+ hours of mixed intensive usages, without having to plug the laptop during the day : unplug in the morning, and plug back in the evening.
