Hello again. The same person who asked for a 3d modeling benchmarks list in your videos like Auto CAD, solid works, Auto desk 3d max and MATLAB or anything else that u think can help. The reason I’m asking it is that I think there r a lot of engineering students like me who cannot afford workstation laptops so then they’ll lean towards gaming laptops. Either way much obliged to u for the effort and reading the comments. Definitely appreciated.

I think dell should add 14” option to their xps line. I really dont feel comfortable on 13” devices. 15 “ devices can be too bulky. 14” is golden ratio, i believe.

3:20 C’mon, are you for real?! 3.5 pounds too heavy? You should’ve seen the amount of books we used to haul around (middle school) on our backs in the 90’s. Laptops used to weigh up to 20lbs. My first one was about 6lbs. Not a problem at all!

Why this model looks like MacBook from 2013? Apple really drop the ball on design and it is not just Mac but other devices like iPhone too.

Also, before every one riled up, remember Apple made a dumb choice to introduce a touch bar, remove all utility ports etc. Bringing some the ports back is not a improvement it’s like getting your limb back to survive.

Hey Josh, I have been watching you channel for a while and I think you are the right person to ask this:

I will be doing a masters in translation technology which involves NLP classes and I plan to focus on NLP for the rest of my career. I am a person who values the design of the macbook a lot and I’ve been using the mac os for over a decade now. Is the M1 processor would be right companion for me to take on the challenges that lay before me?

I’m someone who does a lot of writing for a WordPress blog and also needs a good built in Mic/Webcam for interviewing people over the internet and this is just a dream machine. Very few laptops even have a 1080p webcam and Apple’s software does a great job making things look better with the camera.

that’s weird, my MacBook reached max speed of my internet broadband all the time.
maybe its ur wifi machine problem? still playing game on Mac is not recommendable

Hi Josh. I am a pro designer. Mainly use PS, Ai, XD, C4D (for pro advertising, web, graphics, etc…. I would like to get the 14inch because the form factor but how do you see the 14 inch maxed our (M1 max-totally maxed out) especially because I use very intensive work on PS and C4D…or you think I should get the 16maxed out? thanks for your opinion (no video editing)

Hi, and I’ve just inherited a 27” 2013 iMac, 3.2 Ghz, 16/1TB (Mojave) and it works perfect . – . My normal daily workhorse is a 13” 2015 Retina MacBook Pro, 2.9 Ghz, 16/256 (Big Sur) – and it works perfect, too. The questions: which of these machines should I use as my daily desktop driver? And is it worth keeping them both?

Apple received the 2nd mbp 14 because of the thumb feeling with the space bar which wasn’t much different on the 3rd ? That’s service 👀
