Yeah, no…
In terms of hardware Apple has low build quality on the inside with a total disregard for durability and obsolescence by design seemingly a important design principle.
As for their software, it’s decent, especially the part that’s user facing.
But if you look under the hood that’s not perfect either.
This product might indeed be good, but I’d like to see evaluations from professional repair technicians of its insides before I jump the gun on this thing, and honestly even then I’d probably be looking into the option of dual booting with Linux on this thing, if possible.

Is it important it’s faster? Seems like everyone is fixated on the least exciting aspect ARM brings. The segment ARM is currently targeting on Mac and Windows isn’t the speed focused segment.

Odd, this review is inconsistent with the other reviews on this and the others. Other reviewers found apps that didn’t work, like Pixelmator. They found all 3 devices running at the same speed. They found that AAA title games still have performance difficulties running.

How about a touch screen, pen support, MicroSD slot, ample ports, 1080p webcam, 2-in-1 design, face unlock, etc?
Basic stuff the vast majority of working people use/need. Maybe then Apple’s laptop market share will rise above 8%…lol

The title is very misleading, it will load faster than most of windows laptops but not windows PCs, a 1000$ desktop PC is destroying this MacBook Air in every department.
