So where are the benchmarks to prove that it is faster than most Windows laptops? Show me the figures.
I use the 2015 macbook air and I don’t yet have a reason to upgrade. I run android studio and all other development stuffs all week. I never face any problems
How does the M1 compare to the latest ryzen processors? Just curious.
>faster than most windows PCs
Yeah. Y’know. It’s a fucking thousand dollars.
Now the question is: when is Apple gonna make its own gaming consolle?
It better be good, they’re on tsmc 5nm.
I’m so tempted to get one
Do I trade in my 2019 MacBook Air for this?
Will bootcamp run on the new laptop?
Most outdated windows laptops? I won’t believe that this can outperform widows or linux pc s at the same price range with next gen cpu gpu combinations.
Cut bezels and make it 1 kg and then IT WOULD BE PERRRFECTION 💥
chuutiiiyaaa
“faster than most windows PC’c” does it run Crysis?
Tempted, but old experience on iPhone & iPad told me to hold my wallet for at least three iterations, for Apple to settle in and finalizing the details.
Coming from a 2015 full stack MacBook Pro 15 inch I’m thinking about switching to the 13 inch mbp with M1. But my “old” one is still working so smoothly 😅 I don’t need that 15 inch anymore….I don’t know 🙈
What about someone who uses ms office suite, r statistical software, Python and anaconda… will those softwares work in this ? Suggest….
My phone is fanless,lol.
how about YT 4K 60fps playback?
As long time Windows power user, guys, I’m ready to take that leap of faith.
As a windows user, I am genuinely impressed. Apple have pulled off a hardware and software miracle here. The part that gets me is the fact it runs x86 software better than its x86 laptop versions. That’s all whilst it’s using translational coding approaches to get over the architectural hurdle. That’s crazy!
I also like the fact that iOS apps are there, even if it’s not the greatest implementation.
I don’t think I will buy a mac, certainly not until ay least a second gen version. Aswell as I am in the data analysis profession, so I constantly use Windows pcs, don’t really want to have a Mac as a home laptop if I am switching between them. Also gaming is not about laptops, its about desktops for me, so not really interested from that angle either.
But it is tempting, these are clearly game changers, I would definitely be tempted in the future.
