I just got my 16G/512G Air. the additional 8GB is for VM running Windows 11. (I still have 5% of firmware job need windows… ). low-travel Keyboard is fine for me because I am use external 27″ display and external logitech keyboard.
Would you recommend the 8gb or 16gb ram for general home use like browsing, social apps, YouTube, occasional documents and printing and Apple Arcade games , all the fuss about memory swap and slow ssd on review videos is so confusing
Awesome review as always. Can you do a comparison between m2 air and zenbook s13? Will be waiting. Thanks
I enjoyed this video on my first Macbook in my life, the Macbook Air M1 that I bought for 600€ almost new barely a month ago thanks to your videos. So thank you again ✌
Hi, lately I saw a few of your vids, because I am looking for a laptop and thanks to you, I didn’t buy one yet – since they seemed good on paper, but reality begs to differ.
Thanks for your videos!
Btw, is there any chance you will review Zenbook Pro 17 one day? It seems like a pretty solid laptop vs MBP 16. But I don’t know how it’s in the US with its availability. In Europe, a few models are out in Germany and France, but can’t find more info about them :/
Hi Josh! I strongly recommend you to try the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon 14 inch laptop and do a review on it! Would really love to see your opinions on it, I think it might even be better than the Yoga Slim 7 Pro which u highly praised! 🙂
Another great review!!! Josh always to the point and things I care about.
just wanted to say that i recommended someone the hp aero 13 because you recommended it as well, and my friend is very happy with it. The battery and display is just not of that price range lol
Very odd about the keyboard, I tried them side by side in store for 45 minutes and the keyboards felt the same. Plenty of other people commented they are the same as well if not better.
Did you say the XPS13 plus warning video?
9320 outdid themselves. I love typing on my XPS.
Currently best review, without stupid advice to get 16 ram.
The fact that you still don’t have millions of subscribers is just odd. Amazing review, keep them coming!
Great review, wondering if you will review the HP Pavilion Plus 14 also mentioned in the video. Thank You!
“Let’s get into it”. How original
*it’s
This is an awesome LAPtop. I love typing on this too. I don’t feel any issues with the keyboard, in fact it’s slightly better than Pro version.
The M2 MacBook Air is the laptop most students will be buying and should be buying if not the M1. The ads and the launch date for the M2 are timed for back to school. Apple offers education discounts that can’t be beaten. At the moment, you will get the base model M2 for just $949 after the $100 education discount and the $150 gift voucher. The Ram upgrade also gets an education discount, but the SSD doesn’t. It’s the upgrade to go for because a larger & faster drive really doesn’t matter when most people are going to use cloud storage to sync files across devices. What do you do with the $150 voucher? Buy an iPad or get discounted Apple Care. Students will want something that will last 3-4 years and not become dated, so the M2 is the better bet if you don’t want to regret your purchase in a year when the M1 will get discontinued and the design of the M2 becomes ubiquitous on campus.
I prefer the Air keyboard over the Pro 14 (which I have). The M1 Air to date, has the best typing experience I’ve tested, due to the wedge design. I like the Magic Keyboard on the Airs, it’s a nice balance between the Butterfly ones and the Pro one. I’m not particularly a fan of high travel keyboards like on a Spectre or Thinkpad, so maybe that’s why I prefer the Air kb over the Pro. It’s just the right amount of travel while feeling light.
Every review said that M2 Macbook Air keyboard is identical with Macbook pro 14 ich keyboard, so it’s interesting to hear that M2 MA has a noticeably worse keyboard. I would like to gather more infomration about it.
