In 2016, this was a beautiful and well designed laptop, but was too underpowered for its price to be justifiable for most average consumers. In 2017, it’s still an incredibly beautiful laptop, but now performs extremely well considering the size of the damn thing, for the same price. I could actually see this model being very compelling for a lot of people, particularly students like myself.

Apple, please continue doing this in the future! 👍

Very good review! I’m glad Apple decided to put some faster CPU’s in the MacBook, although I would personally rather buy the 13″ MacBook Pro with function keys for the same price just because I prefer the larger screen and having more power and ports.

I wish the Macbook could come in a 128GB option so it could also drop in price. The entry level Macbook and Macbook pro are the same price now, which is kind of confusing at first glance.
