Now i know i’m a little bit late, bit the new keyboards they feel really wierd compared to the old ones, but do you still see the “First generation” Keyboard on macbook laptops? I just bought a macbook pro and keyboard feels really wierd, because of the “Second generation” so i dont know if there is the old keyboards anymore on the market, since i want that one more then the new…..

why macs are bad:
-bad performance (even maxed out macs have shit performance)
-bad functionality (apple prioritizes aesthetics over function)
-bad keyboard (how the fuck do you use a mac if your a programmer or writer)
-bad design language (very feminine design not very attractive or stylish)
-bad durability (build quality =/= durability)
-bad price (why the fuck would i get a $2000+ mac when my $600 pc is better)
-bad os (apple is fucking proprietary piece of shit they own your software and everything you do)

alternative: get a thinkpad
-good performance, yup
-good functionality, go figure
-good keyboard, best on the market
-good design language, very sleek and modern
-good durability, its military grade I have seen a thinkpad survive a 23 story drop from my friends balcony
-good price (if you buy refurbished from a company using for a year its like half the price)
-good os (i recommend open source software like linux but windows is also fine because of its professional programs)

here are some thinkpads you should buy:

7th gen intel:
-thinkpad p50
-thinkpad p70
-thinkpad t470
-thinkpad x1 carbon 5th gen
-thinkpad x1 carbon yoga (4k display and touch)
-thinkpad x270

refurbished:
-thinkpad t420
-thinkpad t420s
-thinkpad t60 (you can get this for fucking $10 on ebay and if you upgrade it im sure it will be more functional than a mac)
-thinkpad x220 (very good )
-thinkpad x1 carbon 1st gen
-thinkpad t420
-thinkpad t430s
-thinkpad t500
-thinkpad t520

Better than last year, but still overpriced. Apple should follow the example of the 2017 iPad and decrease the price of this base model MacBook. More people would buy it, including me. Right now, I will rather wait, save some money and buy a MacBook Pro instead. I’d sacrifice portability on the altar of better value for money.
