So man, I just bought the 2016 version. Not much of an upgrade I suppose?
basically an iPad with a keyboard…waste of money
You’re such a freakin nerd lmao
they’re technically not core i5 and i7. Intel renamed the m5 and m7 for this generation of processors. not sure why. just makes things more confusing. But the actual i5 and i7 require fans. The computer would catch on fire if thats what it used haha
Lots of people complain about the one port situation but think of the target market. People who want a light travel laptop. They don’t need hella ports to plug stuff in cause they more than likely don’t have anything to plug in😂
The LG Gram is really giving the 12″ MacBook a run for its money.
How do they manage to put an i5 in this without a fan? 😮
wish i could have one
no usb port? 🙁
Its good laptop to editing videos and photos?
I love you
I don’t understand why apple didn’t do this upgrade from the beginning
How can the core I7-7Y75 have 3.6ghz turbo boost while it’s just 5W?
3:50. The most satisfying sound in the world.
I think you should get a Guinness world records for typing that fast in that 12 inch laptop
gorgeous video as always
which should i get, the basis macbook or mbp? it’s the same price, not sure!?
Do you really type something or just smash the keyboard whenever you do the keyboard sound test?
When are you going to do the new iPad pros
Thanks for this very instructive review. I’m really hesitating between the new 2017 MacBook Pro without touchbar (and I’m really looking forward for your review there) and this 2017 Macbook. I love the slim, light design, the display, can accept the single USB-port, but I’m afraid of lacking power in the long term as I plan to keep it at least 5 years. I don’t need that much power though, only enough to make movies from different HD and 4K video sources on iMovie, maybe Final Cut Pro, but nothing professional. I can’t do it anymore on my 2010 Core2Duo MacBook Pro but it still works well with my wife’s 11” MacBookAir, so I guess the new MacBook would be fine. But I still have your conclusion in mind : it is way more powerful than we may think, except for video editing… Thanks for your help 😉
