It looks good at this early stage , and no disrespect intended , but two weeks seems a bit shy of a long term review , i like your testing though .
I would just call it a two week review .

Did you not know that in the previous MacBook air, the fan was not attached to the cpu? It was LITERALLY a placebo fan. It did nothing to cool the laptop.

So glad I spilled water on my early 2020 MacBook pro (Fckn Hate the touchbar) and bought M1 Macbook Air. Sooooo much better

Basically for what I do on a laptop this is perfect for me, I just wish it was available with Windows, I know MacOS is amazing, but I think Windows is more user friendly. But I would use MacOS without a problem, is just I prefer Windows 10 layout.

Air or pro? 8 or 16 RAM? I don’t need the 512 SSD, 256 is ok. No video editing. I work with MS office (mostly excel and access,maybe 6-7 files at the same time), large pdf files and a few chrome windows including facebook and a website playing radio stations. Besides work, I’ll watch movies and basketball games 😁. I’ll keep it till it dies. No updating in 3-4 years. With stores closed, I can’t even check them out and I have never got my hands on a macbook. I’d love a 16 inch pro with more ports, maybe an HDMI port and an msd slot -yeah,right! Please, help me out! Thank you guys!

So apple paid you now, intel was crap, m1 is interesting but it is first gen and niche, and above all has barely any apps, i don’t think the performance is that good, maybe equals the i7, and i am sure it uses more power than they said

32 high performance core iMac PROs are coming late 2021 or 2022, and I assume it’s going to be so amazing. Now I truly hope Intel releases something amazing so the prices will go even lower
