I love these reviews. Energetic and with lots of facts, data and side by side comparisons. Subscribed. I’ve been a MBA user since I switched from Windows in 2011. Never looked back. Now we have M1 and the upcoming later generations of M chips. My 2018 MBA might be handed down pretty soon!

Just ordered a minimal MacBook Air M1 as I can’t wait playing around with it.
Specially with IntelliJ and Xcode and see how it performs.

The last time I was so keen for a new CPU was when Pentium replaced my 486 😊

apple has absolutely changed the landscape of technology now. others will be RUSHING to keep up. but it doesnt matter. this is just the beginning. this is their FIRST generation! can you guys imagine the m1 being the BASE ones…and then they start putting m2 or m1x in macbook pros and imac pros? while leaving the m1 in baseline air and imac? then putting an even more powerful one in the mac pro!?

apple has completely changed the landscape of computing in 2020.

There’s only one thing it’s missing to make it perfect for me: A TOUCHSCREEN!!!

Something the Windows 2-in-1s lets me do is make the laptop my entire system. I don’t need a tablet for work or when I’m around the house, I can dock it to a monitor and make it a desktop, and 90% of the touchscreen games on iPad are available on Windows but not the M1 Macs yet because they don’t have a touchscreen.

I’d even be fine if it was a funky workaround where you could only use the Apple Pencil on the screen.
