1:32 That is because Intel’s cpus come from the past, and Intel runs them at an unacceptable energy cost to pretend they are uptodate processors. This travesty should never be accepted by consumers be it Apple or Windows users. If Intel can’t produce smaller nodes ,they can accept the truth and finally ask form TSMC or whomever to make them for their behalf.

I bought an i5 MacBook Air in late 2011 and it’s always been perfect except I hate it when the fans start up and all I’m doing is browsing the web. I upgraded it to 1Tb SSD because the earlier Airs were upgradable storage, it still looks and works as it did in 2011 a full 9 years later, just reduced battery performance but it still lasts 90 mins which is more than many 2011 notebooks did as new

performance difference between MB pro m1 is really marginal..if u need MB pro probably better wait for the one with m1x or m2
