I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and will wait for the iPhone 15 or 16. I’m done buying a 1500 dollar phone every year. I had the iPhone 7 Plus until I got the 12 pro max

Sorry for dumb-question but if something refreshes 1 time every second, wouldn’t we see an empty screen most of that second? I though human eye needed at least 24 refreshes to see continuity so this confuses me (fps vs hz)

When Apple gonna launch the iPhone 14 Pro with Always-on-Display I’m CERTAIN that Android-people gonna also say « Android had that for years like on the S7 from 2016 »
But one thing they forget is that before the Samsung Note 20 Ultra, AoD was based on hardware that can’t adjust the refresh rate dynamically and so… eat up a lot of battery

Anyway, just like Apple nailed the ProMotion on the iPad Pro and iPhone Pro, I’m sure they gonna nail the Always-on-Display on the iPhone 14 Pro like … every feature they launch *kof kof* night mode for example

So if based on all these reviews and apple fans who said the iPhone 13 pro max battery is so good… Why can’t users decide if they will sacrifice battery life for the always on display, seems like apple is taking away the power of choice in this case
