@CaveManDave91 If you checked my facts, then make a video about it, because there’s no way a Macbook Pro is 30% more than an Alienware computer. You need to compare specs and prove it to me in a video. Don’t just call me an idiot, and then post a comment on YouTube saying Macbook Pros are 30% more expensive. That proves nothing. This argument has been happening for how long?

@johnnieares93 I’m not saying that the components in the Macbook Pro are all made by Apple. I’m saying that the hardware inside and the OS are made to run together perfecty on a Mac. Apple only has to deal with a limited number of drivers, so there’s a lot fewer problems and greater stability. I’m not saying that Apple builds all the components. You must have misunderstood me when you called me an idiot. Why do you have to get so emotional over computer talk? You must not be very mature at all.

@johnnieares93 I guess you didn’t know that anyone can look at their Mac hardware under “About This Mac” in the Apple menu and can tell that not all the specific components are made by only Apple. You didn’t know that? Like for instance, you can see a list of your hardware components, and names like AMD for the graphics pop up. Does that mean Apple makes the it and not AMD? Nope. Glad I could explain this to you.

@DoubleScotchNeat I didn’t mean to type that. I already know that the hardware in a Mac is not made by only Apple. I didn’t mean that Apple makes all the components inside. What I meant is that Apple uses limited drivers, and that their limited hardware specs are specifically designed to run perfectly well with the operating system. Apple isn’t like Windows and they don’t have to support such a huge variety of hardware specs. This means greater stability.

@folladordeprostis Dude, the workers in china only do grunt work that anyone else can do. Their draw is that THEY WANT TO DO IT FOR CHEAP.
The design and engineering is an entirely different story. No one makes stuff like this, except apple.

@Tsanalretentive Well they raised the salaries of their workers there,but apple should do some discounts of macs once in a while,like some 25%-30% discount a couple of days during the year.

@folladordeprostis Well, the way companies go about this is, they graph the demand according to price, and pick a middle point that pleases them with regards to pricing while remaining above the cost point

I’d sure as hell like to get a 17 incher discount, but I’m willing to pay full price because I know I won’t get a better laptop elsewhere.

Thank you so much. I went to Best Buy yesterday to go ahead and buy the Mac Book Pro 17in Quad-Core i7. But then when I double-checked the price, I felt I needed to know whether this is worth it, and if it can handle the tasks I use on my Mac Book Pro: Gaming, and school work. (not at the same time) But now thanks to this review, I can guarantee that this will be great to me. And the 7 hour battery life seems great for long-term usage. Thanks again!

Yeah true, in multiplayer i get 80-90 fps in full lobby”s ultra, i havent compared to single player yet nor have i played it

i7-2600k, 16gb ddr3 corsair vengeance red, GTX 570 TwinFrozr2, Asus P8M67-M Pro. Its a 2 year old setup but still is great for games.

the gtx 570 TwinFrozR2 comes from MSI and i ordered the OC’ed version of it so it comes stock over clocked for me
