The 13” definitely does look thinner but I’m pretty sure that’s just due to the tapered edges. At their thickest points they are about the same. I also really like the new design. Something about the chunkier more retro look makes it feel less dainty than the 13” and makes it feel more of a rugged and capable machine.

Excellent review! Not a power user but wanted the larger (than my 13″) higher rez mini led screen, better speakers and of course the ports. Photography is my long-time hobby and the SD card slot is a very welcomed returning feature.
I would buy a mac book pro again perhaps, but the notch is a deal breaker

Great review! Also love the nato strap! Where is it from??? I have been trying to find similar strap. It reminds me of the blancpain FF bathyscape nato.
is it just me or does the apple website u have open @1:11 look a bit crammed? idk maybe its the camera angle or u zoomed on the screen, but looks quite small and theirs such huge white space out in the left and right side.
Why on earth did they put the notch on it. Sorry, just cant stand it.
What model you choice?

I love mine it works very well!! I have had no problems it runs Remote Desktop very well with no lag, and does video editing very well. I am very happy with my decision to buy one!!
What a time rug
The system on a chip is Apple’s design, but the core CPU tech wasn’t invented by them. It is from ARM ltd, based in Cambridge, England. It’s based in ‘Silicon Fen’. The area has long benefitted from proximity to Cambridge University and was often associated with the best HiFi in the world. Today, there’s some great tech research locally, like ARM. We have them to than for the insane power and efficiency we have in our phones, tablets, and now macs. 😉
I love this design. And this spec is a sweet spot. I don’t think the design is ‘rough’. It’s perfect.
They support adobe or not yet?
I’ve never heard someone pronounce “h” (aitch) as “haitch” haha.
Please help me – what game is it by 4:32 ??!
