mac air 13 retina for me. will be cheaper but with almost the same specs and peripherals.
the two links you said are not in the description…
The gt650 is killer just wish Mac would get even half the valve store
How is the fan in this one when you played borderlands
i think ill just get a nexus 10…with same resolution……
good that should help me for my gaming commentary. Im getting mine tomorrow. Ha the air and got refunded for certain reasons plus the fan got way to loud.
I know!! i was just comparing screen resolutions. 🙂
i like rthe new font
Id rather buy a desktop pc for 800$ and get the same specs as a 1500$ 15” laptop anyone else agree?
Personally I think the MacBook Air is much better value.
When will u be doing your mac mini review?
Or you could just get a OCZ Vertex 4 for 100$, the OWC Data Doubler for 60$ and 8GB RAM for 50$ and put them in a standard MBP 13″
You then have a 500GB HDD,128GB SSD and 8GB RAM with the same processor and GPU for 1310$ (if you buy the MBP from amazon), which is 390$ less with better specs but without the fancy screen
Apple products will always be “premium” and it will never be cheap and that is why I hate apple although I use their products.
What app did you use to look at the cpu performance?
1000$ overpriced
Find me a new $800 iMac and i’ll agree. Until then, no. I’d rather pay more and get Apple’s quality than save money and buy junk.
Me too, I’d rather get the 15 inch,
The nexus 10 tablet has same resolution so its even crazier
Too bad the retina cost too much
Great review Jonathan. This seems to be the consensus that the 15 inch RMBP is better value than the 13 inch RMBP.
Must be nice to be able to buy new Apple products. Here in Croatia, a new MacBook would cost at least $4000.
I’d take a faster, smaller SSD over an cheaper and bigger HDD Any day. I can easily buy huge external HDDs, can’t say the same for internal SSD.
