Really tempted to get this refurbished from apple. Or i can get it new from amazon, but i don’t get the warranty. Suggestions anyone?
Hey! I’m in your situation. I want a retina macbook pro 13″, but If I were you I’d wait for the next gen to come out (probably next month) as it packs a bigger punch. Also, when it does come out, definitley go refurbished, they’re tehnicaly new machines with a lower price tag. Hope I helped! 😀
I recently bought the 14″ Razer for those reasons but ended up returning it. The display was truly subpar, washed out colors and no single correct viewing angle. Read some reviews, they all point it out even though I ignored them at my peril. Probably gonna get the base model 15″ rMBP when it gets the Haswell refresh
is it any better for photo editing/ graphic design than the mid-2012 standard 13 inch Pro, with 8GB RAM?
isnt the 13 inch 1920*1080 and the 15 inch 2560*1600?
What is the program you use (around 1:35) to show CPU usage by core? Thanks.
No, the 13 inch is 2560 by 1600 and the 15 inch is 2880 by 1800.
wow the 13 inch has amazing pixel density then!
So if you wanted to buy Macbook Pro would you advice 2012 or 2013 versions. Im tight on budget but want to buy a macbook Pro. money and performance wise what versions would be Ideal? thanks
I’m leaning towards a used one now. my only concern is the battery?
If you buy a used one from Apple directly, they usually replace the battery and cover. So the battery will still be good, but not as good as the new rMBP. Their advantage comes mainly from the CPU, and how well it handles power consumption.
I dont like apple that much, i respect what they do but i find their products overpriced. Im looking for a new laptop though abit compact powerfull but with great battery life. To be honest there is no PC that has this features. There are nice ultrabookss that are not that powerfull and dont have enough ports, not to mention optical drives. Also most ultrabooks have worse battery life than macbook pro (and dont even think about comparing to macbook air).
All im trying to say is that apple makes really good laptops, they almost have no windows equivalent. And for some reason a macbook pro is better AND cheaper than a high end ultrabook which is slower, has glossy touchscreen and possibly worse build quality and doesnt have enough ports and no optical drive.
As an apple (kinda) hater it struck that apple offers a perfect laptop at a kinda decent price. Now if only apple was that competitive on their smartphone department too.
I think that i will just make the mac jump, and its the perfect time for me since i need a laptop exactly like a 13 MCB. And cant find any that its not a macbook. And offcourse i dont like the direction windows are going with the touch screen focused machines and glossy screens.
That’s all sorry for the long comment just wanted to share my though as a non-apple user.
Can u play minecraft and sims on it and can u get it with a disk drive?
I have wanted a mac since 2010 just couldnt affford it
Battery life????
Not for gaming ? That’s why I want to bay it
So..this isn’t the laptop I should get if I want it to play Minecraft on?
Or in other words, can this laptop run Minecraft well?
