I mean .. man showing up with an Apple watch, what else can we expect lol .. People are just used to ecosystem that’s about it. The phone is the same old boring thing year in year out. Coming from a 12 pro user about to make the switch.

What I really like is almost every category has a “but” or two. Real world experience with the phones is subjective in most categories as well. My wife uses an iPhone, I use an Android. I don’t see that changing as we both want different things in a phone.

Samsung has the incredibly powerful Good Lock app which allows for ridiculous customisation and endless list of features. Some of these customisations would not be possible in other OEMs without rooting or jailbreaking. It also allows for extreme customisation of the lock screen which makes iOS 16 customisation of the lock screen look like a baby. So, in terms of customisation and features, Samsung just blows Apple out of the water. But Marques has rightly said that it is much easier to customise the iPhone. To customise a Samsung, you really have to dig into the settings but you can still do a lot more here. Also for AirDrop, you have Snapdrop for Android, for SharePlay, you have a feature inside of Google Duo which does the same and there is also the highly underrated Samsung and Windows ecosystem, albeit the Apple ecosystem is much more seamless.

Little criticism: You only compared the flagships in the comparison – thats where apple shines , but not the budget phones, where android usually shines. Also there are a lot of other aspects, like that the battery degrades faster with apple, which plays a roll in a lot of these categories. Another aspect was that it wasnt very clear what are you comparing, sometimes it was a direct comparison to the latest Samsung, or to a gaming phone, and the software is nearly at every android phones different, you compared the camera of an ”android” phone with another system on top, but when comparing the software you just compared plain android. I think this video was very subjective, you couldve mentioned this more clearly. But overall a very good and entertaining video, I like them a lot.
