I disgaree with the environmental point because it is better to repair a phone and keep it in use for longer than to just recycle it as parts will always end up as e waste also iphone has a their own separate cable while android all uses one cable.

The entire premise for this video is flawed imo. It should be android versus IOS not android versus iPhone. If you go with android versus IOS then you could come up with an entirely different set of features that will tilt this entirely in the favor of android. If you go with Android versus IOS then the simple difference is support for multiple devices, wearables and form factors, stylus support, external monitor support, works with external docks like nexdock, wide range of camera hardware support to suite individual shooting styles and use cases and accessories support. Also android support more hires audio codes. Still offers support for devices with dual SIM and SD card expansion slots.

People don’t discuss audio much. The control and options one can have on audio quality on an Android is unmatched. I prefer listening to music on my Android with the sound signature tuned to precisely the way I want using the Wavelets app.

I used to own Android and then I switched to apple, and the difference is unfathomable, apple is in its own different class.

Great video, I enjoyed it! Comparing these two device categories is a difficult task, and in the end it does indeed just come down to preference. For me, I am a computer scientist and I prefer total control over my device. However, that control can come with the price of complexity and, if you don’t know what you’re doing, unreliability.

The reality is that most people want something that is easy to use out of the box, and Apple has really pinpointed this as one of their main goals. But if you really want control of your device (without jailbreaking), Android will always beat Apple in that regard. The way I see it, Apple is very single-purpose oriented (do it our way, it works), while Android tends to be general-purpose oriented (do it your way, if it works is up to you).

I think that pretty much sums it up right? Give the people customizability, and companies accessibility (android): risk security, stability, and more bloatware (each brand wants to add their own unique features, there is only one brand for ios). More companies being allowed a share in the Android phone market breeds inefficiencies in terms of software.

imo the camera is where mwtb should’ve taken a stand for Android

And then there’s software support. I really don’t get why google can’t stretch it to 5 years, they can mandate that, and the other companies are gonna be forced to adapt to it or be forced away from android os
