Really cool discussion. I still stand by the statement that a jailbroken iPhone is the best phone you can get (for everyone, not just niche users) but apple continues to mess that up. But you both had interesting nuanced points.

If iPhone have higher results in those test it means only that they paid the company ,it is simple – to be better Apple Has to cheat ,in other case no way it is better.

People by the Iphone bacause it is the “must have” fashion accessory,each year they tweak a few things and the sheep line up to buy them,whilst apple sit back laughing at how they have pulled the wool over their fans eyes again counting their money.

Convenience of use could’ve been another category. The fact that I can simply plug in an android phone into my laptop and transfer files is actually mega. No faffing around with itunes

I think it’s a time for companies to start working on the experience of the application on real life rather than pushing hardwares every now and then.
If they want to charge, that also fine.

I’ve been an Android fanboy for over half a decade now and for the first time in years I am interested in going back to iPhone. Honestly if they added USB C I would switch in a heartbeat. Without it though it’s still a tough call

I find the split screen great on my S22 for transferring data from emails or lists to a spreadsheet or entering orders.

I was confused about the whole features part. Apple has FaceTime, iMessage, and AirDrop but Android can also do those same exact things. Not only that, but Android has had those features longer than Apple has. Apple has FaceTime, Android has Duo. Apple has iMessage, Android has webchat. Apple has AirDrop, Android has Nearby Share. So, I think features should go to Android. Hands down

I think even though apple is ahead with being carbon neutral, Lots of android phones offer 1st class replacement parts through company’s like Ifixit. This makes it easy to get 1st party parts unlike apple which has made it very difficult to get 1st party parts through their website. They also only offer their repair program to a limited amount of country’s. So for environmental it should at least be a draw since android phones are easily repairable
