Issue I found with performance is most developers develop for iOS and then port it to Android. Apps just run better and in some cases have more features on iOS. This hits home with a lot of the topics with performance, battery life and camera cross-app functionality. iOS face recognition is miles ahead of Android too. This is comparing an older iPhone X to a Note 20 Ultra. Used the Note for 6mo and went back to iOS.
UNPAID APPLE ADVERTISEMENT . THAT’S WHAT THIS VIDEO IS.
iTunes… and because of that. I am out.
these types of videos, about apple are very interesting make more on apple
great workkkk
Hi Arun! This is a great collaborative effort! Well done. I really enjoyed it. As many commenters have expressed, I also think the comparisons were skewed.
If you had compared a specific flagship Android phone with a specific flagship Apple phone, it would’ve been more objective.
Comparing an entire Android ecosystem to a very different Apple ecosystem makes for far too many generalizations that scientifically render the comparisons extremely biased.
Yes, all your points and Mark’s were valid, and I think I understood where you were both coming from. I think. Nevertheless, you both hit the bullseye of the dartboard with your collective assertion that one’s choice of one ecosystem over the other is a matter of preference.
However, I wouldn’t compare all the Mercedes Benz vehicles ever made to all the Teslas ever made. There are just too many variables and differences to account for that such a comparison would not only be unfair, but illogical.
Could factors such as fragility and durability, ease of maintenance and repairs, and the availability of parts (to mention a few) been included for a more detailed and objective discussion? Probably. You guys seemed to speak from your very privileged (no offense intended) perspectives.
To illustrate, when was the last time you decided not to get a phone because you couldn’t afford it and not because it didn’t feel great in your hand or because you preferred certain features on a different phone? That’s the perspective from which I think you both addressed the points discussed. That’s not bad in itself, it’s just what it is…your personal experiences and perspectives. And that’s valuable. That’s why we keep coming back.
Regardless of the flaws in the baseline premise that the Android and Apple ecosystems can be effectively compared, the product of your collaboration was absolutely beautiful to see. I’m not sure if this was your first time working with Mark, but I’m impressed nonetheless. Here’s to more great collaborations! Job well done.
Honestly, I don’t care of the best is, I just want one that functions.
I had a 24 hour day
DUDE POST MORE OFTEN I MISS YAAA🤧
I just started the video and I’m so scared to see the results
Are you trying to bait the fanboys ?
I love the collab, but I’m calling foul. Eco-consciousness to the iphone? After you literally made a video calling them out for not including things in the box that just generate more waste later? Or fighting tooth and nail to keep a lightning connector which only generates more waste as everything else is USBC? Also, this is an iPhone verse android, it’s iPhone vs. Samsung. One of the main points of Android is the fact that there are so many, so you really do need to compare them to the various options. If you want top battery life, can you get that on any Android phone? It doesn’t have to be every, just any.
For an advanced power user Android is years ahead of Apple. The fact Android is Open Source makes it the best choice. Also you are comparing the lastest S22 Ultra THAT IS NOT THE BEST Android phone at moment.
My problems with iPhones: outdated phones can’t get apps (still rocking an S5), pricey inconvienient repairs, no micro sd, no variations (Samsung S, J, A series), no file manager, no apk…
A biased video with only a singular perspective being showcased.
Iphones impose control over how you use your phone. While an android phone can be played around to the very last detail in terms of OS ( except for some manufacturers who are against bootloader unlocks). Customization doesn’t mean changing a wallpaper or placing a widget 😓
More over iphones may have better batter life, but the flexibility you give up to achieve that is huge. It’s like using a phone inside a sandbox setup and not considering to know what’s outside. It’s like comparing the battery life of a feature phone against a smartphone.
The unlimited possibilities a person gets just by accessing a phones storage is mind blowing. That’s a cave man’s dream which is still not realized in Iphones ( never will )
IOS is stable because the manufacturer knows and controls every aspect of the hardware to software.
The reason am very confident that this review is biased is after seeing the scorecard tipped in Iphones favor even in camera category, and the most blasphemous thing – iphone 13 pro’s Display is on par with a samsung🤣
And I love the look of the pictures Samsung take. Great detail, vivid colors, however the iPhones shutter speed is the best for taking pictures of an object in motion. But in terms of over all convenience and features that someone like myself does take advantage of such as the multitasking I’d go with Samsung if that was my only choice for the rest of my life. But that it an extremely difficult decision. iOS is missing some features that were in previous versions but then they also had implemented more that we’re not there. And Samsung or pretty much any android after a new release is always buggy until they do get a stable version but they will find a stable version of their operating system as well.
iPhone won? Doesn’t matter, most people can’t buy it
iphone just wins with camera quality maybe but all the rest samsung is way better get outta here iphone winning? xd
I need you guys to do some podcast , atleast once in every two weeks.
if you do i would dig in everyday….
Here’s my take: This video felt more like Samsung vs Apple, given that the is Apple vs Android I’d say there’s literally an android that will beat an iPhone on anything, camera? Sony Xperia. Gaming/Performance? ROG Phone. Battery? ROG Phone. Screen? ROG Phone. Ecosystem? Samsung. The list goes on, point being, if you’re truly looking for the best of the best in a specific category there will always be an android that will win against the iPhone. However some people just like the comfort and simplicity of an iPhone and that’s ok, iPhones are great phones, but if you want the best of the best and money isn’t an issue go android. Also MKBHD is a great content creator, however his biased towards Apple so there’s that.
u didnt mention folds or flips
