People lives in States are always biased with iPhones the main reason is that it’s damn cheap and most of them didn’t use any other phones in their whole life so at the very first place the purpose of this video is fully defeated! That’s one of the biggest reasons I unfollowed MKBHD!

My take to this is-
In US the best phone is iOS just because everyone uses it. So that’s why MKBHD’s opinion was more based on that.
However outside US markets, Android has the main market. So it’s not a minority in many of the categories.

MKBHD really sounds like a beginner to phones here. it even looked like the boss thought the same. Best value (pixel phones) like are you for Real? Many of the points are preference. As example i would rather have 9.5hours battery and really quick charge times than 11hours and extreme slow charge. Im not a fan of Android 12 compared to my good old oxygen but the look of the interfaces is soooo much Better on Android and even Better when customized Also for the elders (they might need a little help to set it Up for Them). But i Will give durability to iPhone. Camera is 50/50, iPhone takes pictures that comes out good very often and (some) androids takes just as good pictures with more features. But the fact that MKBHD is giving 2.5 to 7.5 is Crazy

The best phone is the one you can use.

If you find Android easier and it has the specific features you want thats the best.
If you find iOS easier and it has everything you need then that’s best.

I’ve had and used both I didn’t like old iOS and switched to android for a while but I got tired of the patchy support I personally got and some got the 2nd Gen SE it has everything I need from it though it’s far from the best phone.

How can iphone lock screen be consistent when it just started in ios16? 😂 This is so biased. I had both phones in my hand and my S21 Ultra is Soo much fun to have. And I never took a picture then a week later it was gone. I never had that problem.

Apple, just because of the ecosystem for me personally. I used to fiddle around with Intel PCs and Android phones for 10+years and this year I switched to Apple with a MacBook, an iPhone and an Apple Watch. Never going back to Android/Windows for quite a while. The ecosystem is just genius and make my life actually a lot easier.
