Make everything USB C across the board.
This I’m open to having, since everything would use one cable.
I say, we pass law so everything is USB C.
Apple needs to do away with lightening like they did 30 pin in 2012.

My thoughts exactly on the USB-C thing. It would be great if iPhones had USB-C but I feel this law will stifle innovation in the future.

I found a iOS 16 bug. Facebook is switching back to light mode when I have the setting set to system ( always have dark mode )

I’m still on iOS 13, I thought the idea of widgets all over the place was just strange and I didn’t want my battery to drain with an update. So I just didn’t update and I couldn’t be happier!

This is a not the Socialist States of America, we area Constitutional Republic, for the People and by the People
E.U should butt out, where is it going to stop. E.U. is a socialist system.
We don’t need “government” in our great country dictating
to companies how to run their businesses, they are the worst example of business .
I believe Apple and others should support the country and people that allowed them the
opportunities to be great

I don’t think that Apple should be forced to have a universal adapter, especially since there is no universal outlet proposed for electricity. The EU has a different electric outlet then we have in the states and if our senators made a bill to force them to change their adapters they would tell us to piss off, so I don’t know why they can get away with forcing phone devices to all be the same, whether it would be more convenient or not. Apple would not be able to create a new adapter if they are forced to use usb c and that is not good for creating future technology. Eventually they are going to have completely wireless devices that get their power from some sort of cloud service the way we get it now. It would be nice to not have to plug anything into an outlet, and that was the dream of Nikola Tesla to give free power over the airwaves so I’m sure the technology exists it’s just the power companies that don’t want us to be able to get free energy. But imagine a home with no cords or outlets anywhere it would be so convenient and you could design your interior however you want without having to make sure there is a power supply nearby.

USB-C is a universal cable which was formed with cooperation of all the major company including Apple Microsoft Samsung LG Dell, and etc etc. The same companies innovated moved from USB to USB-C. So your wrong to think that.

I haven’t understood the use of a connector (better known as a water ingress port) for quite some time now. Wireless is entirely adequate for charging and data can be transferred at 100 mb/s reliably so why the port? I love Bernie Sanders but those guys and the UK are way outa line trying to dictate this stuff. Believe me, there was a reason that they got rid of the headphone jack on these devices. I think innovation ought to turn away from the power port to more efficient wireless charging. And have you noticed that only a cable is provided and not a power supply? I’ve got a drawer full of them. But I don’t use a wall wart..or the cable.

What would be nice is if apple allows you to program iPhone iPads looked at all the compliers they are not complete how about a complier network where you write test and sell code from your iPhone iPad
