Honestly, don’t get why people always complain that it looks like last year model. Smartphones are just like cars, if you own a Toyota Camry, do you upgrade every year? Obviously not. But what the company does is slowly add new features and upgrades, so when it’s time to upgrade to a new model a few years later, it will be substantial (e.g. iPhone 8 to iPhone 13). If already own an iPhone 12, there’s no reason why you should be upgrading, unless you have a shit ton of cash lying around.

Switched to a iphone 12 pro max earlier this year and im planning to keep it for atleast 3-4 years since all my android phones were unsupported after 2. Charging your battery up to 80% instead of 100% prolongs the life by a lot, my iphone is still at 100% battery after almost 6 months of use.

Apple can eat shit for not allowing the user to replace the battery with a genuine Apple battery from another iPhone. The software locks are even harder on the iPhone 13 while they did not change that much about the hardware itself.
