Is the “screen” you’re looking at in the glasses as transparent as it shows in the video? I get the AR component to them, but if i’m watching a movie, or playing a game, i wouldn’t want it to be transparent at all, i want it to look like an actual screen

Bought them around a month ago… I tried the work use first whilst out at a coffee shop.. then tried to watch a movie.. was really impressed with it.. I’ve now hooked it up to my mac with the nebula app to gain the 3 screen format… bang for buck is brilliant, when you see the price of the upcoming Apple Vision Pro, and that hasn’t even been announce for the UK… Well worth it

I think some clarification is needed. The whole 200 inch screen claim is only true if you don’t have the shades on and you stare at a wall. Depending on the distance between you and the wall will determine the size you experience. If you put the shades on, then it’s more like. 23inch screen perhaps?

Head Anchor mode keeps the image stable and smooth even when your head is shaking heavily. Makes me wonder if “head anchor” is cockney rhyming slang.

I don’t like how people say 330 inch tv. That’s like me holding 6 inch phone up to face and saying it’s a 330 inch screen.

If I remember right, doesn’t the Nebula app for Mac have body anchor and up to three virtual screens, and isn’t that app also coming to Windows soon? The Beam is great for phones and consoles, but for laptops and even handheld computers like the Ally, I’s rather have the spacial computation done on the device itself. Makes the whole thing cleaner
