I remember watching Lisa’s videos when MobileTechReview first started out.. it’s so refreshing to see that this channel has kept its soul. And more importantly, that there are Tech-Tubers out there that have got a brain (allthough I always knew this to be true for Lisa).

the 10 core gpu model DOES throttle though and ends up posting worse results than the 8 core. you can fit cooling pads which make a lot of difference but you really shouldn’t. have to do this with an apple product….

Finally someone providing a real-world review of performance of the M2 inclusive of comparison analysis to previous gen units. Not just shitting on it because of potential throttling issues is nice to hear.

Thanks for noting the external monitor. One external monitor only. Really want the Air for its size but only supporting one display is a deal breaker for me. Going to get the 14” but don’t need the size or power.

the heating throtling problem is ok in 20 degree controled environment, where i live the average temp around the year is 32 degree celcius, with pick at 38 degree during hot hours, witch make that machine totally unusable
