You mentioned that if you opt for the 67 watt charger, you lose magsafe, but I dont think that is true. I think both chargers are magsafe, just like the larger chargers are for the M1 Pro 14 and 16 inch Macbook Pros are.

You should rather get a Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio… Same Entry Price but a hell of lot more Features.

Great review. I like that you listed comparable Windows laptops. Perhaps you covered it and I missed it, but should owners of the M1 Air consider upgrading? I like my M1 Air and use it daily with few issues, is there any reason to upgrade?

Great video! Just a note, I can’t live without dual monitors so I have a dual monitor setup with a displayLink dock for my M1 MacBook. They even work 4K at 60HZ without any issues, I have a VisionTek VT7000. There are many cheaper DisplayLink options out there that also work well, but DisplaLink has turned my desk into one that works great with both Apple and Windows. Great content and review 🙂 thank you for the video

It’s terrible value at the 16Gb and 512Gb spec. Almost the same price as the base 14” MacBook Pro. Seems bad value. If you want performance, go with the Pro, if you want value, go with the base model old M1 Air.

I heard “those coming from 2015 macbook pro would laugh” and I laughed because … guilty as charged and I’m gonna get an mba m2 cuz it’s 4x faster and i’m fine with my 7yo mbp so i’m good 😀

Have to wonder — Apple gets a lot of praise for redesigns, like this one. But WTH can’t Apple improve on bezel reduction, put in touch screens and include a slot for a microSD, which is so small?
