I bought the M1 Pro for the form factor and screen. The Air is too thin (fragile effect) and the 13 inch has the touchbar and old bezels. The 14 was a must for me. Even if it’s only for basic tasks and (a lot of) content consumption like Netflix and YouTube.

It’s an amazing machine and has excellent battery life and gaming (world of warcraft) is not that bad on macOS either. The integrated graphics are a blast 😀

having to work with only 2 usb C ports for a laptop made for professionals was the dumbest decision Apple could have made. Thank god the new ones have actual useful ports now

Are you sure the display is 120hz? Apple either doesn’t say at all or makes it very difficult to find. I’ve also found articles stating that it’s not 120hz, but 60hz.

I was having difficulties in communicating with my partiner, she did not care about his attitude has cost a lot this past few years. I decided to spy on her cell phone using a private investigator. Saw comments about dolby_hack and i gave it a trial. Few hours i got access to her cell phone and i was highly disappointed with all i saw in her phone. Women are really something else. Thanks to

I just bought a used base 14″ MacBook Pro so I’m watching this video to validate my purchase lol. Got it at a decent price ($250 less than buying brand new), and it came with about 1 year of Apple Care remaining so that’s a bonus. I was going to get a M2 MacBook Air in July, but when I realised that increasing from 8GB unified memory to 16GB, and increasing from 256GB ssd to 512GB, the price is suddenly already very close to the base 14″ MBP, which has a superior screen, speakers, graphical performance, battery life, etc., so instead of waiting for an M2 Air I just decided to get a base 14″ MacBook Pro with the binned M1 Pro chip. It’ll be good enough for the next couple of years, then I can replace it with an M4 MacBook Pro or whatever in the future haha!

I stream MQA from Tidal, using an iPhone 13 Pro and an Apple camera kit. I’m sure I’ll want to use it for more things in the future, but for now I’m looking for a laptop or desktop to stream or purchase lossless music, alone. I want something which will allow me to compare & screw-around with various external DACS, amps & great headphones, like the Stellia, Utopia, etc. I’ll always be seated at a desk, so I don’t need something portable, small, or even lightweight. (My vision is poor, so I can’t read fine print easily).
Is this 14” MacBook Pro the right gadget for me? I don’t want to cheat my headphones, but the most I would be able to spend is $2,000. I did just buy the $2,000 14” MacBook Pro, so I have 1 1/2 weeks to return or exchange it.
👀 also, I’ve been unable to use its USB C ports for external DACS, (streaming Tidal). How would I fix this? (I’m wondering if streaming lossless audio from Apple Music, rather than Tidal, would solve the problem (?)
