Excellent review as always but saying it’s the best MacBook Air is not saying much. It’s not hard to improve on a 1440 x 900 screen resolution. And the pre-2016 MBA keyboards were already perfect. The 2020 MBA is really just the least-expensive way to get onto the MacOS platform with a “new” laptop. You’re better off getting a used pre-2016 MacBook Pro 13″ for about $500. If you want that new unboxing experience, you’re better off saving the extra money for the 16″ MacBook Pro or the upcoming 14″ MacBook Pro. I have the 2012 MBA 13″ and the 2015 MBP 13″. I purchased the 2018 Huawei MateBook X Pro when Apple started the butterfly keyboard fiasco. Now I’m waiting until the end of year to see what Apple offers in terms of a 14″ MBP or a refreshed 16″ MBP.

Great video. I reckon they’ll sell a ton of them at that price. I bought one in 2013 that is still in good shape, no indication of anything amiss.

Glad you touched on the thermals. I’m going to wait and see what the pro offers; and if were to spec it, it would be high end air with the equivalent pro 13/14. Obviously price will be a determining factor. Either cannot be worse than my 9350 😂 😫.

I recently got a 2015 MacBook retina 15” with an i7 for a little less than the same price as this but I still think this looks pretty great!
