Love your videos! Greetings from Portugal. I’m between this new MB Air i7 8GB 256 SSD to DO basic stuff, adobe illustrator, photoshop, some light video edit on iMovie, Garage Band and the MB Pro 13´´. Which one do you grab?
Note: i7 was advice from Apple sales phone operator.

The first 15 seconds, you already know its the best. Looks the same.

For 13″ 4K retina display, useless can’t have the full resolution anyway. Same with all previous macbook.

If Apple put 2K display on 13″ macbook would be better.

Many $999 laptops are better than this one.

The “Airs” never rocked my boat. I totally dislike the uneven thickness from the back to the front. I much prefer the Macbook 12″, which I “own” (the institution that I work for bought it and I use it as my work laptop on the go). My Macbook 12″ is the first generation that came out and it is still going strong. And yes, I am a power user. I’m a Database Administrator and what I do requires me to always run a Windows 10 VM in the background, but the laptop handles it quite well. Of course, it’s no speed monster, but I love the two-pound footprint and 12″ is the perfect size for me on the go. (I have an iMac Pro 27″ in my home office for when I am not on the go.)
