You are probably THE ONLY review that mentions MUSIC PRODUCERS as a user group. Sincerely thank you. Some focus for us folk as well. We are done with 4K @ 60fps @ 2080 maxq. Video producers may forget that music is a more than just a royalty free track.

Cool, I just need a competent laptop that can handle some intensive music production sessions. That is pretty much what I’ll primarily be using it for, and this new MacBook Pro seems like it’ll do the job perfectly.

Despite true tone being on at work on my MBP 2017, it doesn’t affect my heavy use of professional Photoshop in the slightest from original result, since the effect is so minor, yet so comforting. For me, turning on true tone is definitely better than turning it off, and my heavy use of professional Photoshop for work isn’t affected in the slightest, which is great!

Build quality is the only good thing about Macs now days ( unless u go for the top expensive models) the rest is just overpriced crap.

Luv my 2015 & 17 MB 12″. Gave the 2015 to wife, her go to device. I also use more often then my 15″ & 13″ MB Pro’s, iPad Pro’ s, maxed out Mac Mini w/Apple display. For just down and dirty email, watch some tubes catching up on the news. I really wish they would have kept the 12 and just put more powerful chips inside but can’t have it all.
This vid shows without a doubt a great buy… forget the Air!

No USB, no SD card reader, no headphone jack, lackluster keyboard, no function keys. . . . I’ll stick with my secondhand 15″ Mid 2015 Pro with AMD graphics. Once it’s completely obsolete and unusable I’m moving back to Windows. Hopefully it will last another five years.

If it wasn’t for the keyboard this would be nice. I did a hands on at the store and it had me feeling like my Surface Laptop was just inferior, that track pad is nice.
