$1,100 for mediocre specs with a little baby processor (the “Y” SKU processors that used to be called m3 but they are so weak that Intel changed the naming scheme to make it look like you are getting an “i5” instead of “m3” because people would see m3 and say, “I want a real processor”), thick ugly bezels that kind of defeat the premium metal look, bad keyboard (guaranteed to feel bad and will probably break) and NO TOUCH. That’s right… $1,100 for a laptop with NO TOUCHSCREEN. Just laughable! Way better options on the PC side. Oh and there is a secret… Macs do break and Macs can get malware, etc. :O :O :O

Macbook Air for productivity and general use is really decent but if you want something with power definitely get a proper PC

Just purchased the 2019 MacBook Air replacing my 2017 MacBook Pro. I can’t tell the difference for my daily activities. I got it for $899 at Best Buy which the MBP was $1299. I know the MBP has better specs, but $400 difference was just too much. So far I’m happy with my purchase and the savings. If it would have been only $200 difference then I would have just gone with the MBP.

I bought it for work (lots of writing, internet research and some off time with youtube and facebook) works perfectly, I charge it during night and it lasts all the way through the day until I’m back in bed. The sound is the best I ever had with a laptop, the screen at least for me is perfect, and the touch pad is freaking amazing, I’m using it for several days now since I bought it, didn’t felt the need to use a mouse even for a sec
