Is it a good upgrade from a Xbox one (original?) I have the 2016 MacBook Pro but I can’t take advantage of it fully gaming wise. Any suggestions? (I don’t have a 2k tv. Was thinking of investing into a monitor. Should I upgrade the Xbox one and my tv or buy a gpu, monitor and a external hard drive for games?

Come on! For that just buy a windows machine ! Make a review about how much can be improved with an eGPU for those developers or creators of content and photography or rendering 4K videos etc. That for which apple was created !

I think this is stupid, you paid a lot of money to use OSX no to install windows in a MacBook if you want to play just buy a windows laptop/pc

hi Jeff, i really appreciate you videos and they are made very professional. But i need your help with an error in bootcamp windows, where the graphiccard is not able to connect properliy due to a CODE 12 error from windows. Drivers should be installed and the graphic card is a Rtx Vega 56. Do you have an idea how to fix this problem? Please help me!

I’m thinking about buying an eGPU with an Nvidia GTX 1080 for my 2015 MacbookPro, because I’m interested in 3D rendering with Octane and it’s optimized with Nvidia Drivers only.

But, I’m not sure about that (Thunderbolt 3 to 2, i5 from 2015… there’re lots of little problems). Why do you think? I love MacOS for my daily work as a designer, and I have no problems to run Ps, Ai, Ae, etc… but i need a extra power to render with Cinema 4D, with the advantages of an incredible portable laptop

If I buy one with that Mac configuration, and using Bootcamp on then for rendering. ¿It will be fine?

Now the question is how well the maxed out 2018 i7 MBP is going to do with an RTX 2080 ti (if the installation is possible) when it comes to demanding VR games on the upcoming next-generation VR Sets like StarVR and Pimax with insane Field of View? Will I have to buy a PC with RTX 2080 ti or would an eGPU be sufficient enough with my maxed out i7 MBP 2018? I wish I could find the answer to this question.
