Hey I just got my MacBook Air from Brandsmart USA brand-new, and I noticed the ends of the keys aren’t fully lit. It seems to fade (especially on the esc key). Is this normal for all MacBook Airs or does mine have a defect?

Thank you for a good review. I really want this gold MacBook Air now to replace a late 2011 MacBook Pro. Yeah. It is slow, outdated & I’m on borrowed time so need something now. I also have a 2018 12” iPad Pro, which I love. My idea is to get a 2018 MacBook Air now wait for a MacBook Pro 2020 hoping for major new features on that model. What would you recommend my minimum specs be on a MacBook Air? I am an amateur photographer and artist so I do edit photography and I like to write. I’d appreciate any recommendations.

Exceptional video!!! Thank you for your honesty and recommendations. I would like to purchase a new Mac in the next 30-45 days to use for work as I am a school administrator. I just need it to run Word, Excel, & email for the most part. I review and create a lot of spreadsheets as I am very data-driven. I’ve looked at the new Air and I love it’s sleek appearance. They only think I don’t like about it is the i5 processor and not having the option to buy with an i7. Any machine I’ve used in the past with an i5 processor (PC and not Mac), it was very slow and would freeze up all the time. When I purchased my MacBook Pro in late 2011, I got one with an i7 processor and it has been flawless still to this day. I’d like to upgrade for weight/portability and for the Retina display. I am a bit scared to drop so much money into a MacBook Air only for it to be too slow for my needs and possibly freeze at times. It bothers me so much that I recently considered buying the previous model of the Air because it has the latest generation i7 processor and I know I’d be good to go, however there is no comparison with the display between the previous model and the new 2018 Air. Finally, I’d hate to drop so much money on a new Air and not get what I want and then before you know it, Apple comes out with an updated release that gives you the option to get an i7 processor. The MacBook Pro would be the perfect solution but I would rather have the Air for its portability as I am always on the go and visit several classrooms throughout the day. Any advice or suggestions/recommendations you can give would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Have to admit, probably the best review on the market atm. Watched so many videos to see if i should go for 2017 Pro or this 2018 Air. And now i know what laptop to get! So you just earned a new sub☺️
