The 720p camera sucks, display is inferior compared to 13″ macbook pro which is only $100 more and more powerful. The size difference is not even that significant

Although I love macOS and I am all in into Apple‘s ecosystem, I just bought a Windows laptop and I am actually satisfied with it. My laptop is a MSI GS65 Stealth, an expensive but super powerful machine. Apple has a ludicrous price scheme at the moment. It is absolutely non sense to pay those prices for what the macs are currently offering hardware wise. Besides, they are no longer reliable machines due to this sensitive butterfly keyboard.

Thumbs up for Lisa, middle finger for this “Upgrade”.
I’m a big fan of Mac OS, but this pricing to performance has become a joke. Adding in everything is soldered inside, no thanks. I’m not paying 1200 bucks for what amounts to a 13″ iPad with no touch screen and a built in keyboard (that sucks, as an aside. I’m sorry but if you have to lock yourself up for 3 days + and force yourself to like something you don’t like it.)
I won’t be buying this, and since Apple loves their T2 chip, I likely won’t be using Mac-OS ever again probably. Sorry, I was fine with the Apple tax when it was an extra 10-15% like the early 2000s. It’s now closer to a good 25% and up, and to make matters worse everything is part of the motherboard.
I’m switching to MSI, nice looking, and upgrade-able. The only plus to this thing is Mac-OS and no true-tone display. I do a lot of artwork, I don’t want my artwork changing color over the day, that’s a stupid feature. I pay extra for color-matched screens, stop playing with the color balance because my room is dark. I don’t feel like this was an upgrade, more of a big F-U to the college students and casual users who made the Air popular to begin with.

What I like about your reviews is that you get straight to the point, you don’t talk 10mins about how cool it is to have rose gold apple stickers, like some other youtubers that “review” apple products do.
