Awesome review. Glad to see gaming benchmarks not taking over this review.
Is 8GB of RAM enough? Really considering future proof by getting the 16GB upgrade
Jus coming from apple insider’s video
This one is definitely better👌
Sorry, i’d still prefer a dell xps 15
Thank-you for the battery life segment I’ve been searching all over for what the battery life is like.
I’ll wait until Apple have fixed the keyboard, got rid of the touchbar, and brought the MagSafe charger back before upgrading. At least my 2015 MacBook Pro gets the basics right.
I need your advise, I want to but a macbook pro, but I may not use it that often due I have a powerful desktop. As a Graphic Designer I use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and lately a little bit of After Effects. Due to the upcoming devices the 2017 models here in the middle east will drop its prices a little, do you recomend me to get the 2017 15″ Macbook Pro or is the 2018 13″ Macbook pro with 2.7 GHz, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of Storage will do?
1500$ for casual use and students, sounds great
i was waiting for the pros to get updated but i dont want the touch bar its almost 300$ more. should i just buy the 2017 base model without touchbar or 2018 with the touch bar?
i want it for school and i want to learn more photo editing and some video editing too, i dont think i will need much power, but idk overall what should i do?
is the i7 version worth it?
Would you recommend the base 2018 MacBook Pro 13” for light video editing
What is the white ring thing on your desk??
As I am assuming, those who give good comments are rich and not tech people . it the look of the laptop , matter more than everything. And owning this very overpriced laptop , it so cool, than anything …….. WHAT AN IDIOTS , lol!!!!!
Really great video comparing the different models. My current MacBook Pro from 2012 is on the way out. I don’t do video editing, gaming, graphics anything like that. Just normal every day Internet, videos, word processing stuff, multiple applications and browsers with numerous tabs running at the same time….stuff like that since I am at public school teacher. I have had my current one for about five years so starting to go. I like the new changes to the new MacBook Pros with the Touch Bar version versus the nonTouchbar but not sure if it would be overkill versus just getting the non-Touch Bar version. Regardless of which version, thinking of upgrading the ram to 16 GB and put in the hard drive at 512 GB. For the added cost, I’m a little uneasy about going any higher than those numbers because as it is it’s a little over $2000 at that point. For the added cost I am unsure about the one terabyte. I upgraded my 2012 MacBook Pro to like 700 GB but have only used a little under a third of that as of now. Plan on keeping my computer for a while but I don’t need anything super high end powerful but I do not want to struggle with every day tasks down the road.
It would be great to see another “after 6 months of usage” follow-up report on just the keyboard. This 3rd gen keyboard is only a minor change to the 2nd-gen and I wonder if this would fix the sticky key problem
Large Touchpad?
Why does no one mention which 8th gen i5 EXACTLY is being used?
not a proper review
I wouldn’t necessarily call it an “ultra book”
Holy shit I didn’t know you had a second channel I thought you like died or something
