Ram 8gb is my consideration.. since 16gb add $200 more and not even ddr4 and 15″ is too big

How is the fan noise? How is the heating on this thing? I have been searching for this in reviews. And I only found one channel that mentioned those things. I am considering getting either the 16 inch base model or going for the top of the line 13-inch with 16GB of memory. I am considering switching majors for computer science. And traveling and commuting will be a major consideration. One has the better cooling and keyboard. But it seems too heavy for pulling it out of a bag and constantly using it in class or around campus.
