I have the one with the m370x… I’m getting barely 60 frames cs go with low settings with steam boot optimization settings :(. also, my comp sounds like a freight train next to a jumbo jet… 🙁 idk why. I had a fan issue, went to Apple, and it was gone without doing anything to it. so idk something is weird about my Mac

I think I’m going to go for the 2014 model. I want to get 13 inch but the program I’m going into in college says 15 is needed ugh. Anyone know where I can buy the 15″ 2014 base model ?

Great review!!! I am still using macbook pro retina 2012 and think there still not much changes. They upgrade ram and graphic card for sure, but only slightly bit improvement on the retina display and proccesor. Which id the most important think!!! I have been use it for Photoshop and Ilustrator, and i personally think 2012 is still do the work!!!

damn the GPU is weak
they should really stick one GTX 970m in that macbook and have better cooling design

I have a ps4 for gaming but i do want to play RTS games on it like C&C, rome total war etc. Is the base model enough for this kind of gaming? And should i upgrade the storage to 512 gb?? Thank you!

What is your basis for saying the 15″ doesn’t have much value when compared to the 13″? Is that based on real world performance? Because based on benchmarks everything I’ve seen suggests the quad cores in the 15″ rmbp are WAY more powerful than the 13″ dual cores.

Great Vide man! I want to decide between the dedicated version and the Iris Pro version. I do some video editing once in a while and photoshop work. Which one would you recommend? Because If I upgrade the Iris Pro Version to 512gb SSD and 2.5GHz cpu, I will end up at the same price that the dedicated version has…
