I’m running a mid-2012 15″ rMBP, and God damn has it been a good laptop. It’s starting to show age, with that measly 8GB of ram, but I suppose I can hold out until USB-C MacBooks come out…

I really want to pick up a new MacBook Pro 13 inch for the next semester of college, but honestly I’m not sure if I should wait a year (possibly, or longer) for the redesign or not.

Woa, really nice review, and I liked your approach a lot, like measuring the heat and noise of the machines. I’m thinking of upgrading my current macbook to a laptop that definitely won’t burn my legs and that remains quite silent.

I love your reviews so much. Here’s why
Your information in your videos are logical and it’s what customers like me looks for quality and durability and a cost vs performance.
For example when you held the MacBooks in one and hand and you were talking about how the 15 inch felt like you were putting an uncomfortable amount of pressure on the bottom casing nobody that I’ve seen is that detailed in reviews and I like it. because that generally what I look for when choosing products.

Thanks Dave great review as always, I bought the 2014 15″ for my music production, the reason i chose the 2014 model was because i really dislike the force touchpad, the click on the MacBook trackpads have always been one of the most satisfying things 😀 and now they’ve replaced it with an artificial one that really doesn’t click well

Hey dude. I’d like to upgrade from a Mid 2013 Macbook Air to a Macbook Pro with retina display 15 inch. Do you think it will be a awesome move up for me? But I’m not sure about what type of Macbook Pro with retina display 15 inch i want. Cuz i use my Macbook Air for loads of Safari browsing and maybe occasionally put it through its paces
