Great videos dave! I have watched about a dozen of your videos in the last few hours to gain some knowledge about laptops. I am currently an architecture student and I was told I was going to have to purchase a pretty heavy duty laptop for the next 4 years of school. since this is a complex question, maybe I could ask a more generic one. In your opinion what are your favorite three brands that you can always count on to have a good product? Thanks!

But the 13″ has a mechanical HD and only 8 GB of ram. Can that run pro apps like FCP and Adobe products? or will the 13″MBP make you look as stupid as buying a MB or MB Air because of the colors.

I prefer this than the new Macbook. Baby it is worth it for editing 4k videos I think it is not bad plus the DIsplay are superb so no complain here. Pls review the Samsung galaxy s6 edge hoping to see a review from you. Fantastic review so 10/10 for over all 😛

i’m deciding whether to buy a 2015 MBPR 15″ or a 2014MBPR 15″
Main purpose is the Adobe series, Final cut Pro and Rhino, keyshot.
very hard to decide the graphics card, M370X or 750M?

my question is why would you want this laptop at all? for that money you can get a dell 15xps with way better graphics card and cheaper, people spending on this machine are beyond doomed.

heyy dave .. i wanted to buy a mac book pro and getting a new 2014 high end model with nvidia 750 graphics for 2026 usd .. shud I go for it or wait for 2016 ? or shud I go for 2015 ? am.confused.. i dnt care much about the force touch.. tell me what to do..

Good review man. Nice to hear an honest unbiased opinion. I was looking at the 15″ with discreet GPU but may look at the 2014 version now. Seeing the “graphs” I may go with the 13″.
