my experience with APPLE macbooks was very bad, bought a macbook pro mid-2012 for 500$ which is a lot here, my reason was to use it for djing but the gpu died a few days later… not i need one for photography but I still have that feel : it’s gonna break again as the mid 2012
I bought a MacBook Pro Retina 2015 13inch 8gb 128gb for £250 which I think is quite a good deal
Cool bird 😂I just got MacBook Pro 2017 13-inch for €400 heh, it’s amazing, great looking machine, but when it comes to performance it’s okay, but way behind my other laptop, I will be using it only as a secondary laptop alongside my HP Omen [I need macOS too] thanks for the video!
Currently using the macbook pro i7 16gb ram 512ssd 2015 it’s such a great laptop and still stands and competes with current laptops.
I love how you organized this video! Saved lots of time for me. You deserve so much love <3 Thank you for ur time :')
Seriously considering upgrading my 2017 mbp to a 2015, as a secondary computer to my desktop. Idk why i’ve kept the 2017 this long, really sucks and its having so many hardware issues.
I’ve had this exact model for 6 years now and was just curious about what people think of it. It’s definitely showing its age now but I used it heavily from 2017-2019 for uni which involved a lot of Adobe programs; editing videos, photoshop etc. It definitely wasn’t a flawless experience but got the job done. I still enjoyed my time with it, although recently it’s turned into my browsing + YouTube laptop since I bought a new PC a couple months ago.
Having to re-learn Windows again made me realise how much more I prefer MacOS. I think it’s a lot better from a user experience standpoint; it’s simply a lot more streamlined and there’s a lot less tinkering needed. I also took the display for granted because my PC’s monitor is nowhere near the same quality as a retina display.
Still, looking back I think it’s funny that in 2017 $2000 got me this laptop that has a CPU with 2 cores and 4 threads, 8 GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Then in 2022, 2 months ago, $1700 got me a PC that has a CPU with 6 cores and 12 threads (Ryzen 5 5600x), 16GB of RAM, 500GB of storage for the boot drive, a 2 TB HDD for extra storage and an RTX 3060.
and it seems like Apple has finally killed off all older macbooks from 2016 and 2015 with macOS Ventura, unless if you install a patched version of it
I use a chromebook as a budget but this mac seems as a good budget so i am gonna get one and try
I’m a graphic design student using an early 2015 13-inch MBP w/16 GB ram, a 2.9 processor, and 500 GB SSD. Its more than made up for the 500 dollars I paid back in 2018.
I owned one and it is still going great with 16gb i7 processor, but downside it is not powerful enough for Lightroom. Battery life is getting worse though.
i got one recently on ebay, the battery is brand new and is updated to the latest version of MacOs, how long will this laptop last? say another 2 to 5 years?
ive got a 2015 early macbook pro 13 inch and it still rocks. battery still very good.
I’m a programmer and i used this macbook pro 13 2015 inch and its still good and fast. I used this for over a year now…😌
does anyone agree that upgrade to os monterey wont give any regret on base model macbook pro 13”?
My MacBook Pro 2015 is doing just fine as my secondary device. Thumbs up to macOS.
I had a MacBook Pro 2015 13” until two weeks ago, then I switched to a MacBook Pro M2.
I found a MacBook Pro 2014 13 inch i5 processor 2.6 giga ram 8 at a price of $ 451 and so far I do not know whether to buy it or not because someone told me that support and software updates do not download for it (note I have not tried a MacBook before)
i got one for 220 hope its as good as you say it is
If you’re worried about software support, put linux on it.
