Do I upgrade to Monterey from Catalina on mine? (Same specs as yours)
Bruh can I use this macbook for small kind of editing and gaming . Not for a high use also iam a beginner
planning on getting a refurbished one for $325 and I’m excited. I’ve been searching for a while for something good and cheap (I’m not that rich lol) and I think I’ve finally found it
I’m using a base 2015 13 inch MacBook Pro. It had gotten incredibly sluggish, to the point of being unusable, even on web browsing. I recently learned from one of Luke Miani’s videos that this happens on MacBooks when the battery is either missing or severely degraded. Mine is severely degraded. I used Macs Fan Control to keep the fans at the lowest RPM and keep the MacBook cool using an external turbine style fan. This restored the performance to like new. I am waiting for a new 1TB SSD and a new battery that I ordered. The new SSD should allow the computer to perform better than when it was new (not sure by how much). I can’t wait!
hi, im dumb, but is this a lot more better than the MacBook air 2017? i just really wanna know, not good with techs so yeah, i hope my question get answered. thank u.
Love this video, very well explained! It makes me appreciate the quality of my mac. I’ve had my 2015 13inch macbook pro for about 6 years and I need to change the battery and replace the screen. It’ll cost me around 400 USD, so I am wondering is it worth the repair or should I just invest in a newer version? I use it mainly for simple tasks like word, excel, internet scrolling etc. but I also use it for teaching online, around 3-4 hours of zoom per day . Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
This video has convinced me, hopefully it can handle Lightroom better than my 3 year old high spec windows that just refuses to work these days

Does monterey running well on macbook 2015 ?

700 to 1000 for a 2015?
That’s crazy considering I got a brand new m1 MacBook Air for 750 a few months ago from an authorized apple retail seller. The amount of performance and ability it has provides much greater value than a 2015 (I/o not withstanding)
Hello Pls does it have universal control
Same machine, but I bought one with just 2000CNY=300USD,8GB RAM and 128GB ssd
What’s the best a PRO or AIR?
i still use mine daily and i love it. it out performs any windows laptop I’ve had. battery is flawless. not upgrading anytime soon. nice video by the way
Watching this on an early 2015 13-inch MacBook Pro…
I just picked up a 2015 15″ Macbook Pro (Iris Pro model) for $550AUD with a perfect chassis and no screen de-lamination + 90% battery capacity left – This thing is amazing, doesn’t overheat under light load, and just got nearly 9 hours of battery life under Monterey – To put this into perspective, I also own a newer beast of an ultrabook – MSI Modern 14 with an i7-1195g7 and 32GB RAM : I’m happy when that thing last 5 hours on battery and somehow doesn’t stay as cool as the 7 year old macbook. On light tasks (Firefox+VSCode+Spotify), I can’t notice a difference in speed at all between the two. But the difference between 16:9 1920×1080 vs 16:10 2880×1800 is night and day.
Moral of the story – if you see a rich couple getting rid of their barely used 2015 15″ that has been sitting in its box for most of its life, jump on the offer asap and don’t worry about running 7 year old hardware
Hi, great video. I have a question: will the new macOS Big Sur be a problem on a Macbook Pro 13″, 2015, i5, 8gb ram model?
