I can finally change my 128gb ssd to a 1TB and change the spoiled battery. Speakers also got blown so I’ll change that. Add a thermal paste refresh and I’ll be using mine for a longer time to come.

Great video! Can share your experience updating to Monterey? What iOS system did you have before updating? If you were on Big Sur, it Monterey better in terms of performance? Does Monterey slow down the performance compare to Big Sur? Any notable changes or differences between the two operating systems?

my 2015 mbp 13 inch has experienced twice water spill on top of the keyboard and the heat sink area…but still not face any problem…just to make sure to off as fast as u can when that happen…let it dry a few days…i can said this mbp one of the most toughest model apple ever produced

Picking one of these beauties up tomorrow! Not really a heavy user – aside from the occasional 4K video editing for home projects in iMovie – and looking to keep it for at least a couple years as a travel-style laptop (it probably won’t travel much though since I’ll be scared to damage it)

Good thing i saw your channel.

I only play axie infinity and sold my lenovo gaming laptop.
I am planning to buy MBP retina 2015 13″ 8gb ram.

Can it handle a simple 1080p screen recording and edit it with i movie or final cut pro? I mean no special effects or whatsoever just the basic cut and paste scene and export it to 1080p 60fps for youtube.

If you can check my videos that is the only game i play.

Basically screen record while playing axie infinity and then later on edit it cut the parts i dont like and export.

I might play axie and screen record at the same time, will you still recommend it?

700$ that’s quite overpriced. It’s supposed to be 400$-500$
I was going for this one, but I needed a bigger screen and a discrete gpu so I’ve got a 2013 15” though it doesn’t support Big Sur nor Monterey, so yeah I screwed up

I am still using my 2012 MBP 15″ and I can get it to quit. Still runs as fast as the day I bought it. These are like tanks.
