great review, only one ive seen to actually test the screen
The keyboard while better, still sucks. How can this rich of a company f up something so basic?
6 core or 9 core options 2:40
Great review, as usual. I love that shirt — Lisa, you’ve GOT to merchandise.
(ˇ⊖ˇ) Thank you Lisa! YouTube likes to _bash_ Apple and while they sometimes deserve it, the vitriol gives me heartburn—whatevah, I guess they can afford it. But I enjoy the way you deliver your impression and astute observations in a relatable experience. But what sets you apart from other tech channels is your guiltless style and balanced trustworthiness that is easy on the mind and soul. It’s a refreshing from the usual head-on-the-platter meatloaf served with a serrated smile… whoops I ramble. Anyway, what I’m trying to say, when *you* _bash_ it’s more like a cute _bonk_ . Thanks for sharing,!
Thanks Lisa, i was waiting just for your review. I trust you 100%.

Which kind of product is this?!
Once the MBP was the PERFECT laptop for designers and architects, photo/video editors (thanks also to great Apple software, now removed from the market) and every sort of creative.
Who should be today their core Target?
They have lost a bunch of designers and architects on the road, thanks to the amazing design of the 2016-19 line but they don’t care.
They just care that you buy the Apple Care+ and twenty dongles.
It’s ten years they’ve stopped to offer you the best product on the market for the fat pricetag you are willing to pay.
Apple was invention and innovation. Today, Microsoft is the Apple of twenty years ago.
Meanwhile, Asus creates two new lines of laptops, just for designers (like the Zen book pro duo) but Apple refuses to implement the touch screen and the pen on their machines.
Who is going to follow the blind man?
I apologize for the length of my comment.
Great review as always, my god the video is so smooth, loving your camera.
Apple fixed almost all of my complaints for the existing MBPs, something I thought would never happen. I imagined it slowly turning into a high-end Macbook Air. Now we just need at least one USB-A port and an SD card reader and we’re all set.
If Microsoft ever comes out with an SB3 though, I’d probably pick it still. It will likely have a leading GPU, albeit giving up quite a bit in the CPU space, but while I don’t often need the GPU for work, it tends to be the sort of brick wall I find myself in, whereas it can be hard for me to appreciate the differences between any two good CPUs. Hence, I run Titan Xes in my workstations.
What of 18″ and 21″
Nine core option? 🤪 @ 2:41
Thing about Apple’s RAM choices is that the problem right now is that LPDDR doesn’t exist as SODIMMs, so soldered on is literally the only way to go. Using non LP ram seems like a non-starter considering that they’re at 10kmAh on the battery.
Srsly, you are the only reviewer I fully trust!
I like your OLED T-Shirt!
It’s still the best laptop ever. Apple won 2019.
How you can possibly omit the num pad in a 16” laptop is beyond my understanding. Let’s make the touchpad even bigger and continue with speakers on both sides instead
finally a reviewer who talks about the bad part of this laptop, soldered ram and soldered ssds.
“It shouldn’t matter as much as it does!”
😉
Lisa: For 4K-8K video editing, would the 16″ MacBook pro be better overall, long-term vs a Windows laptop? If I don’t travel much but kind of like the be able to work outside, in the living room, on the couch.. or have the flexibility to do so.. would I still be better off with a powerful Windows desktop due to significantly faster performance?
Also, do you think a 4K display with lower PPI would actually be less sharp than a MacBook Pro 16 display with higher PPI? I like the crispness of 4K displays for text and images, but color accuracy is also important, so I’m torn between 4K 100% adobe rgb vs MacBook Pro displays with Display-P3.
Letssss goooo! 🍿 Forget the hype let’s get the real scoop
If apple ever makes a true 4k display, trust me battery life will suffer.
